Bollywood actor and Bigg Boss 19 fame Kunickaa Sadanand is mourning the loss of her mother, Mrs Kalyani Sadanand. The actor paid an emotional tribute to her mother on social media, remembering her as a loving, strong and joyful woman who played an important role in shaping her life.
On Tuesday, Kunickaa shared a picture of her mother on Instagram and expressed her grief over the loss. Along with the photograph, she wrote, “Rest in peace mumma, the world will not be the same without you.”
Kunickaa also penned a heartfelt note, thanking her mother for everything she had given her throughout her life. She remembered the love, guidance and confidence her mother gave her and credited her with giving her the strength to dream big and face life’s challenges.
‘My Mumma, I Love You’
In her emotional tribute, Kunickaa wrote, “My Mumma, I love you, thank you for everything you hv given me, the love, the guidance, the confidence to dream and dare the world, the looks, the personality, the strength to endure what life bestows on me.”
The actor went on to describe her mother as her “darling Empress Mrs Kalyani Sadanand” and said that her memory would continue to live on in the hearts of everyone who knew her.
Kunickaa remembered her mother as a fun-loving and joyful person who was friendly with everyone and always had something witty or kind to say.
She wrote that friends and family would remember Kalyani for her warm personality and the happiness she brought into people’s lives. Kunickaa also expressed comfort in the thought that her mother was now reunited with her siblings and other loved ones who had passed away.

She began her acting journey on television before making her Bollywood debut with the 1988 horror film Kabrastan. Over the years, she appeared in several popular Hindi films and became known for portraying strong character roles, including negative characters.
Her filmography includes movies such as Beta, Gumrah and Khiladi. She was also remembered for her role as Shanti in Hum Saath-Saath Hain, where she played a close friend of Reema Lagoo’s character.
