In a major operation, the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force has exposed an alleged high-tech SSC examination scam operating from Greater Noida.

Officials revealed that the accused reportedly used:

  • remote access software,
  • screen-sharing applications,
  • and electronic devices to manipulate examinations.

During the raid, authorities seized around ₹50 lakh in cash along with laptops, mobile phones, technical equipment, and several exam-related documents.

Authorities have said the investigation is ongoing and more arrests could follow.

Mumbai: Locals cancelled, short-terminated, underground Metro station flooded; commuters face a harrowing time as rainfall hits public transportation | Mumbai News - The Indian Express

Mumbai finally witnessed its first spell of rain, bringing major relief from the intense summer heat that had affected the city over the past several weeks.

Cool winds, cloudy skies, and rainfall helped lower temperatures across many areas, with residents welcoming the sudden weather change after days of humidity and scorching conditions.

However, the relief quickly turned stressful for hundreds of commuters after technical disruptions affected Mumbai Metro’s Aqua Line (Metro 3) during peak hours.

Passengers reported:

  • halted trains,
  • overcrowded platforms,
  • long waiting times,
  • and confusion due to lack of communication.

Many office-goers and daily commuters took to social media to complain about delays and inconvenience during the city’s first major rain spell of the season.

The situation created chaotic scenes at several stations as stranded passengers struggled to reach work and other destinations on time.

Authorities later confirmed that the technical issue had been resolved and services were restored. However, the incident once again triggered discussions around Mumbai’s transport infrastructure and preparedness during monsoon conditions.

For many Mumbaikars, the day perfectly captured the city’s monsoon reality — beautiful rains on one side and commuting struggles on the other.
