The upcoming episode of Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa promises plenty of laughter and emotions as Bollywood star Govinda makes a special appearance to support his wife, Sunita Ahuja, who has been having a difficult time inside the reality show.
In a newly released promo, Govinda receives a grand welcome from hosts Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh, who introduce him as Bollywood’s beloved “Hero No. 1.” Dressed in his signature stylish look, Govinda walks onto the stage with a smile before sharing warm hugs with both hosts.
Soon after his entry, Govinda reflects on the challenges of life with his trademark wit. He says, “Yeh voh Lock Upp hai jo dikhayi deta hai, jo nahi dikhaye dete voh kayi lock-ups hai, main vahan se aa raha hoon,” suggesting that while the audience can see the reality show’s prison, there are many emotional “lock-ups” people face in real life that remain hidden.
The conversation then takes a humorous turn when Farah Khan brings up one of Sunita Ahuja’s most talked-about comments from the show’s premiere. Teasing Govinda, Farah asks, “Tune aisi supari kyun di thi ki isko maaro goli?”
Without missing a beat, Govinda responds with his trademark comic timing. Pulling out a bullet, he jokes, “Arre, main leke aaya hoon jeb mein goli. Main bola seene mein maarna chah rahi thi, maar le ab.” His witty reply leaves everyone on the set laughing and instantly becomes one of the promo’s most memorable moments.
Sunita’s earlier remarks had already grabbed headlines after she spoke candidly about her marriage on the reality show. She admitted that Govinda had affairs during their marriage but said she chose to stay because of her love for him and their family.
She also referred to Govinda’s accidental shooting incident, in which he accidentally injured his knee while handling his licensed revolver. With her trademark humour, Sunita had remarked, “Jab koi teesra aata hai toh aankhiyon se nahi, ghutnon pe goli maari jaati hai.”
When Farah reminded her of rumours suggesting that if Sunita had been the one who shot Govinda, she would have aimed at his chest instead of his knee, Sunita laughed and confidently replied, “Nishana chookta nahi mera.” The comment quickly went viral across social media for its bold and humorous tone.
Despite their candid public conversations and occasional playful digs at each other, Govinda and Sunita continue to share a strong bond. Married since 1987, the couple has stood by each other through the highs and lows of life and are parents to Tina Ahuja and Yashvardan Ahuja.
In recent episodes of Lock Upp, Sunita has appeared emotionally overwhelmed by the pressure of the competition. At one point, she even asked fellow contestants to nominate her for elimination because she was finding it difficult to cope inside the house.
Govinda’s appearance is expected to lift her spirits and provide emotional support during one of the toughest phases of her journey. Fans are eagerly waiting to watch the heartfelt reunion between the couple, along with the actor’s trademark humour that has entertained audiences for decades.
Hosted by Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh, Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa continues to make headlines with its dramatic twists, emotional moments, and celebrity revelations. Govinda’s special appearance is set to be one of the biggest highlights of the upcoming episode.
