Dhurandhar 2 Crosses Rs 1,365 Crore in 11 Days, Surpasses Prequel and Breaks North American Records
Mumbai, March 30, 2026 – Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar: The Revenge is setting new benchmarks at the global box office, surpassing the lifetime collection of its prequel Dhurandhar within just 11 days of release. The Ranveer Singh-starrer has already grossed a staggering Rs 1,365 crore worldwide, cementing its status as one of the biggest Indian blockbusters ever.
The makers shared the achievement on Instagram with a poster highlighting the milestone. According to the post, the film’s India net collections have reached Rs 867 crore, with day-wise earnings showing consistent growth: Rs 637 crore in the opening week, followed by Rs 53 crore, Rs 42 crore, Rs 64 crore, and Rs 71 crore on days 8 through 11, respectively.
Record-Breaking Run in North America
Dhurandhar 2 has also created history overseas, particularly in North America. According to Sacnilk, the film grossed approximately $22.01 million within 10 days, surpassing the original Dhurandhar ($20.65 million) and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (around $22 million). This ended Baahubali 2’s nine-year-long reign as the highest-grossing Indian film in the region.
The surge came after a strong $2.6 million haul on day 10, reflecting the film’s growing appeal among international audiences. Along the way, Dhurandhar 2 also outperformed several major Indian releases, including Kalki 2898 AD ($18.57 million) and Pathaan ($17.49 million), before overtaking Dhurandhar and eventually Baahubali 2.
Star-Studded Cast and Production
The spy action thriller features an ensemble cast including Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sara Ali Khan, and Rakesh Bedi, with backing from Jio Studios and B62 Studios. The film’s mix of high-octane action, suspenseful storytelling, and star power has contributed to its record-breaking success both domestically and internationally.
With just 11 days in theaters, Dhurandhar 2 has already rewritten box office records, signaling a historic run that could place it among the highest-grossing Indian films of all time.
