The makers of Hanuman Ansh are already looking ahead to the film’s upcoming instalments, and producer Namrata Singh has opened up about the possibility of Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma making cameo appearances in the franchise.
In a recent conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Namrata revealed that Hanuman Ansh was always planned as a trilogy. According to her, each instalment will explore a different phase and aspect of Neem Karoli Baba’s spiritual journey and influence.
When asked whether Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma could appear in the second part, Namrata said that she had reached out to some people who were already aware of the film.
“I have reached out to some of them, and they were aware of the film earlier,” she said.
What Will Part 2 and Part 3 Be About?
Namrata explained that the second instalment will focus primarily on Neem Karoli Baba’s spiritual influence on his devotees in India. The story will explore the lives of the thousands of people whose lives were touched by his teachings.
“There are thousands of devotees whose lives he touched in India, and they come first, without doubt,” she said, adding that the Kainchi story will focus on Indian devotees.
The third part, meanwhile, is expected to take the story beyond India and explore how Neem Karoli Baba’s spiritual teachings and influence reached people across the world.
Namrata specifically mentioned several well-known international personalities who have been associated with Neem Karoli Baba’s teachings and legacy, including Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg, Jack Dorsey and Julia Roberts.
“The third film will focus on how he put India on the global map by the spiritual energy that he transferred to foreigners,” she said.
Will Virat and Anushka Be Part of the Franchise?
The possibility of Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma appearing in Hanuman Ansh is likely to generate considerable curiosity among audiences, particularly because of their known interest in spirituality and Neem Karoli Baba.
However, Namrata’s comments do not confirm that either Virat or Anushka has agreed to appear in the film. For now, their possible involvement remains something fans will have to wait and watch for.
With the franchise planned as a trilogy, the makers appear keen to tell a larger story—starting with Neem Karoli Baba’s connection with devotees in India and eventually exploring his spiritual influence around the world.
