Inside King’s Delhi Duplex: Glam Room, Music Studio, and a Piano-Filled Creative Space
From chart-topping hits like Maan Meri Jaan to sharing the stage with global stars like Nick Jonas, King—born Arpan Kumar Chandel—has carved a unique space in India’s music scene. Now, fans have been given an intimate glimpse into his personal world, thanks to a recent home tour featured on Fun With Farah, hosted by filmmaker Farah Khan.
The episode opens the doors to King’s stylish Delhi duplex, a thoughtfully designed home that blends comfort, creativity, and personality.
A warm welcome into a creative space
As you step inside, the entrance splits the house into two sections. One side leads into a spacious living room—arguably the heart of the home—where King often practices music and holds rehearsal sessions with his team. The room features grey walls, elegant golden lighting fixtures, and a plush grey-and-white sofa, creating a calm yet modern vibe.
A standout element in the living area is a unique piano with a wooden casing. Interestingly, King admits he doesn’t play it himself—his niece is the one who brings it to life during her visits. During the tour, Farah Khan shared that she was introduced to King’s music by none other than Shah Rukh Khan, with Maan Meri Jaan being one of the first songs she heard.
Personal corners and family touches
The house reflects strong family roots. One room includes a small temple along with a shelf curated by King’s father, Ashok Kumar, displaying cherished photographs and childhood memories. Another room serves as his father’s bedroom, adding a deeply personal and grounded feel to the home.
King revealed that he has been living in this duplex for about a year, and it clearly balances both his personal and professional life.

Glam, style, and a touch of fun
Adjacent to the living room is a dedicated glam room—a space where King keeps his clothes, shoes, and styling essentials. It reflects his bold fashion sense and public persona.
In his bedroom, King shares space with his pet cat, Adah. Adding a quirky touch, he keeps a reference picture featuring three cats and joked that if Adah ever has kittens, he plans to recreate the same photo with them dressed up.
Upstairs luxury and musical energy
Heading upstairs, visitors are greeted by a stunning chandelier that instantly grabs attention. In a light-hearted moment, Farah Khan even had her cook stand beneath it, while King joked about turning into “Shantipriya,” referencing Farah’s film Om Shanti Om.
The upper level also houses King’s in-home music studio—a crucial part of his creative process. The studio opens onto a terrace, which doubles as a space for hosting parties and unwinding with friends and collaborators.
A home that reflects the artist
The tour concludes on a warm note, with King, Farah, and the crew sitting down together for a meal—bringing out the homely charm behind the star’s glamorous life.
King’s Delhi duplex is more than just a luxurious space—it’s a reflection of his journey, blending music, family, and individuality. From a rehearsal-ready living room to a personal studio and stylish glam space, the home perfectly captures the essence of an artist who truly lives life king-size.
