Akshay Kumar and Raveena Tandon are all set to share the screen once again with Welcome To The Jungle, bringing back memories of one of Bollywood’s most loved on-screen pairings. At the trailer launch of the film, Akshay looked back at their journey together and spoke warmly about Raveena’s dedication and growth over the years.

Recalling their early days in the industry, Akshay praised Raveena for her professionalism and work ethic, saying that despite the passage of time, some things about her have never changed.

“Her professionalism has not changed, she is still the same,” Akshay said while sharing an incident from one of their old film shoots.

The actor remembered a day when they had very little time left to complete a scene before sunset. According to him, Raveena had to change costumes quickly, but the makeup room was located far from the shooting spot.

“There were only 25 to 30 minutes left and it looked almost impossible. But she went into the generator van, changed there and came back immediately for the shot,” Akshay recalled, appreciating her commitment towards work.

The actor also spoke about how life has come full circle for his longtime co-star. With a smile, he remarked, “A lot of changes have happened in her. She is a brilliant actor. The biggest change being, she was a heroine earlier, and now she is a heroine’s mother,” referring to Raveena’s daughter, actor Rasha Thadani.

Akshay and Raveena have worked together in several popular films over the years, including Mohra, Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi and Police Force: An Inside Story. Their reunion in Welcome To The Jungle has already generated excitement among fans who have fond memories of their on-screen chemistry.

Directed by Ahmed Khan, Welcome To The Jungle features a massive ensemble cast including Suniel Shetty, Arshad Warsi, Paresh Rawal, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Lara Dutta, Jackie Shroff, Johny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Daler Mehndi and several others.

The film is the third instalment in the popular Welcome franchise and promises its trademark mix of comedy, confusion and larger-than-life entertainment. It is scheduled to release in theatres on June 26, 2026.

While the film’s trailer was packed with laughs, it was Akshay Kumar’s heartfelt words for Raveena Tandon and his appreciation for her years of hard work that stood out, reminding fans of a friendship and professional bond that has lasted for decades.
