Wedding celebrations have officially begun in the Kapoor family as Anshula Kapoor and her fiancé Rohan Thakkar prepare to tie the knot on July 6. The pre-wedding festivities kicked off on Sunday with close family members coming together for an intimate celebration filled with love, laughter and traditional charm.
Shanaya Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor gave fans a glimpse of the joyous occasion by sharing pictures from the festivities on Instagram. The photos featured Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Maheep Kapoor and other family members, all dressed in ethnic outfits and posing happily together.

Sharing the pictures, Shanaya Kapoor wrote, “We love you @anshulakapoor @rohanthakkar1511,” while Maheep Kapoor captioned her post, “Shaadi begins. Jai Mata Di, Anshula and Rohan.”
Anshula, the daughter of producer Boney Kapoor and late Mona Shourie Kapoor, got engaged to longtime boyfriend Rohan Thakkar in New York in 2025. The couple announced their engagement through a heartfelt social media post and later hosted an intimate Gor Dhana ceremony in Mumbai attended by close friends and family.
At the time, Anshula had shared emotional pictures from the function featuring siblings Arjun Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor. Sonam Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor were also present for the celebration.
In a touching note, Anshula had written that Rohan’s favourite phrase, “Always and Forever,” finally felt real as they celebrated with their loved ones. She also remembered her late mother, Mona Shourie Kapoor, saying her presence could still be felt through the flowers, blessings and emotions surrounding the occasion.
“Looking around the room, I felt this is what forever should feel like,” she had written.
As the countdown to their wedding begins, the Kapoor family seems to be soaking in every moment together. With Janhvi, Khushi and Arjun Kapoor joining the festivities and more celebrations lined up in the coming days, Anshula and Rohan’s wedding promises to be a warm and memorable family affair.
