Aamir Khan is all set to begin a new chapter in his life. The actor has confirmed that he will marry longtime partner Gauri Spratt on July 5, 2026, and revealed that the ceremony will be an intimate affair with only close family and friends in attendance.
Speaking about the wedding, Aamir said that he and Gauri have deliberately chosen to keep things simple. The couple will have a registered marriage at home rather than a grand celebration.
“It will be a very simple registered marriage at home, with just both the families and really close friends. We both want to keep it very basic,” Aamir said in an interview with Deccan Chronicle.
Earlier, in a conversation with Variety India, the actor had shared that he and Gauri felt ready to take their relationship to the next stage. He said marriage felt like a natural step and added that he already considered himself deeply committed to her.
Gauri Spratt, who is based in Bengaluru, works in the wellness and beauty industry. She is the granddaughter of British-born writer and thinker Philip Spratt, who made India his home nearly a century ago. Gauri also has a son, Quinn, from her previous marriage. The couple’s relationship became public earlier this year when Aamir introduced her and spoke openly about their bond.
This will be Aamir Khan’s third marriage. He was first married to Reena Dutta, with whom he shares two children, Junaid and Ira Khan. After their separation, he married filmmaker Kiran Rao. The couple parted ways in 2021 after 16 years of marriage but continue to share a cordial relationship and co-parent their son, Azad.
