Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has added a new chapter to his career by launching his official YouTube channel, Being Salman Khan. The actor announced his digital venture on Friday, October 9, giving fans another platform to connect with him and explore a different side of their favourite star.

Known for his iconic dialogue delivery, unique body language and powerful screen presence, Salman has started his YouTube journey with entertaining videos that playfully teach viewers how to imitate his signature style. The launch has generated excitement among fans eager to see more of the superstar beyond his films and television appearances.

Salman Khan Gives Fans a Fun Acting Lesson

Salman’s first video on the channel offers a light-hearted take on acting and personality. The clip features two versions of the actor, with one playing an acting and personality coach and the other portraying a student.

Through this playful format, the coach teaches the student how to master Salman’s familiar mannerisms, body language and dialogue delivery. The video gives fans an entertaining look at the qualities that have become closely associated with the actor’s on-screen identity.

Rather than presenting a conventional acting tutorial, Salman appears to use humour and self-awareness to make the content engaging. His signature expressions and style have been part of his appeal for decades, and the new video allows fans to enjoy them in a different format.

The channel could also give the actor an opportunity to experiment with more casual, personality-driven content outside the usual film promotions and television appearances.

‘Shuru Se Shuru Karte Hain’: Salman Announces His New Venture

Salman also shared the link to his official YouTube channel on his Instagram Story, inviting fans to check out his latest venture.

Along with the link, the actor wrote, “Shuru se shuru karte hain. Mera official YouTube channel. A se Z tak sab yahan milega.”

The message, which means that he is starting from the beginning and that fans can find everything on his official channel, introduced followers to his new digital space.

The channel had already attracted around 36,300 subscribers at the time of the reported update. With Salman’s enormous fan following, the platform has the potential to become another major destination for audiences looking for content featuring the superstar.

Bollywood Stars Are Finding New Audiences on YouTube

Salman is among several Bollywood celebrities who have turned to YouTube to connect with audiences beyond cinema and television. The platform allows stars to share behind-the-scenes moments, personal experiences, lifestyle content and conversations that may not fit into their regular professional appearances.

Actors such as Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Kartik Aaryan also have YouTube channels, reflecting the growing interest in digital content among film personalities.

Filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan has found considerable success on the platform through her celebrity cooking vlogs. Often joined by her cook, Dilip, Farah visits actors’ homes, prepares food with them and shares candid conversations about their careers and personal lives. Her channel, launched in 2024, has grown to more than 3.2 million subscribers, according to the reported figures.

Actor Archana Puran Singh has also built a strong YouTube presence through family vlogs featuring her husband, Parmeet Sethi, and their sons, Aaryamann and Ayushmaan Sethi. Her channel has crossed the one-million-subscriber mark, while her sons have also explored creating content of their own.

Salman’s approach appears different from the family-vlogging format, with his initial videos focusing on his screen persona and acting style. It remains to be seen what other kinds of content he will introduce as the channel develops.

What’s Next for Salman Khan?

Alongside his new digital venture, Salman continues to remain busy with his television and film commitments. He is currently hosting the 20th season of the popular reality show Bigg Boss, where his presence continues to be a major part of the programme.

On the film front, he is set to appear in Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace, co-starring Chitrangada Singh. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the film was originally scheduled to release in March 2026 but has faced two postponements. A new release date has not yet been announced, according to the report.

With the launch of Being Salman Khan, the superstar is expanding his digital presence while continuing his work in films and television. For fans, the channel offers a new way to enjoy his familiar personality, humour and signature style beyond the big screen.
