The makers of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups have finally answered fans’ biggest question—where are the women? After weeks of curiosity, a brand-new teaser titled ‘Ladies & Ladies’ has been released, introducing the film’s powerful female cast alongside Yash.

The teaser, which runs for over a minute and a half, opens with a surprising disclaimer asking parents to keep children away from the video. It also humorously warns grandparents and even great-grandparents to watch at their own risk, hinting at the film’s mature themes and intense storytelling.

The video then shifts to a dramatic voiceover that speaks about love, power and betrayal, setting the tone for a story where the women appear to play just as important a role as the film’s leading man.

The teaser offers glimpses of the film’s leading ladies without revealing too much about their characters. Nayanthara is seen riding a motorcycle with confidence, while Kiara Advani is introduced in a glamorous avatar. Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth also make striking appearances, with each character seemingly hiding secrets and larger plans that could shape the story.

Yash, who appears in several action-packed moments, is seen confronting the women with his trademark swagger. In one of the teaser’s standout moments, he says, “Ladies and ladies… Do you want to come one at a time? Or all together?” before launching into an intense fight sequence.

While the teaser keeps the storyline under wraps, it hints at a world filled with action, mystery and complex relationships. Fans have praised the visuals, stylish presentation and the strong screen presence of the female cast, making the teaser an instant talking point on social media.

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is a period gangster drama featuring Yash in a dual role. The film also stars Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth in key roles. Produced by KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, the film has been simultaneously shot in Kannada and English before being dubbed into multiple Indian languages.

The film has faced several release delays since its announcement. Initially planned for release in 2025, Toxic was postponed multiple times due to production schedules, release clashes and distribution plans. It is now scheduled to hit theatres on August 26, coinciding with the Onam festival.

Earlier this year, the film also found itself at the centre of controversy after its birthday teaser featuring Yash received complaints over certain scenes and religious imagery. Despite the debate, anticipation for the film has continued to grow, with each new promotional material generating massive buzz online.

With the release of the ‘Ladies & Ladies’ teaser, the makers have shifted the spotlight onto the women of Toxic, suggesting that they will be central to the film’s story rather than just supporting characters. The latest glimpse has only raised excitement for what promises to be one of the year’s biggest cinematic releases.
