Swagatha S Krishnan Accuses Tamil Composer of Serial Sexual Abuse, Calls Him “Epstein of Madras”

Tamil playback singer Swagatha S Krishnan, known for songs such as Yeno Pennae and Kaadhal Kanmani, has made serious allegations against an unnamed Tamil music composer, accusing him of serial sexual abuse during a recent interview.

Speaking to the YouTube channel Sivasankari Talks, the singer referred to the composer as the “Epstein of Madras,” alleging repeated misconduct and exploitation within his professional workspace. She also stated that she is now preparing to pursue legal action after years of remaining silent.

Allegations of abuse inside studio

Swagatha alleged that the incidents took place inside the composer’s music studio, which she described as soundproof, locked, and fitted with CCTV cameras, including hidden devices. She claimed that she was unable to seek help during the alleged incidents due to the isolation of the space.

She further alleged that recordings were made without consent and later used to intimidate and control her.

Claims of manipulation and repeated pattern

The singer said the composer initially built trust with independent women and later exploited his position of power. She also alleged financial manipulation, claiming he borrowed money from women and delayed repayment while maintaining influence over them.

Swagatha added that she later came in contact with other women who shared similar experiences, suggesting what she described as a repeated pattern of misconduct.

Emotional and professional impact

She stated that the alleged incidents had a severe impact on her mental health and career. Swagatha claimed she faced defamation within the industry, including false accusations and efforts to discredit her professionally.

She also said she underwent therapy and relied heavily on family support to cope with the emotional trauma.

Swagatha revealed that she had previously consulted legal experts and officials but did not proceed with a formal complaint at the time due to fear and lack of support. She now confirmed that she is preparing to take legal action against the composer.
