The latest episode of Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa witnessed one of the most explosive confrontations of the season as Shivangi Joshi and Shilpa Shinde engaged in a heated war of words. What started as accusations of gossip quickly turned into a personal and emotional argument, leaving the entire house stunned.
The rivalry between the two actresses has been brewing ever since Shilpa entered the show as a wildcard contestant. While Shivangi had largely stayed away from responding to the comments directed at her, she finally decided to confront Shilpa head-on.
According to the episode, wildcard contestant Apoorva Mukhija informed Shivangi that Shilpa had allegedly made derogatory comments about her personal life and claimed she had affairs with several of her co-stars. Apoorva also accused Shilpa of making inappropriate remarks that amounted to slut-shaming.
After hearing this, Shivangi confronted Shilpa during an argument and accused her of spreading rumours behind her back. She questioned why Shilpa appeared so obsessed with her and even took a sarcastic dig at the similarity between her name and that of Shubhangi Atre, who replaced Shilpa in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain. Shivangi praised Shubhangi’s work and suggested that Shilpa’s resentment might stem from that association.
Shilpa defended herself by saying she had only repeated things that were already circulating on social media and insisted she was merely talking about what she had heard outside the show.
The explanation, however, did little to calm Shivangi. Losing her temper, she accused Shilpa of attacking her character and dragging her personal life into the game. Shivangi said contestants inside the house had chosen not to discuss Shilpa’s personal relationships out of respect, but Shilpa had not shown the same courtesy.
The argument escalated further after Apoorva alleged that Shilpa had even commented on Shivangi’s virginity. Furious over the claim, Shivangi lashed out, saying such remarks reflected Shilpa’s character. She criticised the senior actress for spreading rumours about another woman and stated that such behaviour was one of the reasons people no longer wanted to work with her.
The confrontation became one of the most intense moments of the season, with several housemates watching in silence as emotions ran high.
The controversy comes just days after Shilpa allegedly claimed that Shivangi had been romantically linked with several of her co-stars. She had also referred to Shivangi’s relationship with actor Kushal Tandon, commenting on the age difference between the two.
The issue had already caught the attention of the show’s hosts Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh, who, during a previous Judgement Day episode, warned Shilpa against spreading rumours or bringing outside information into the game.
As tensions continue to rise inside the Lock Upp house, the latest clash between Shivangi Joshi and Shilpa Shinde has become one of the season’s most talked-about moments, with viewers eagerly waiting to see whether the rivalry intensifies further in the coming episodes.
