Yo Yo Honey Singh Reschedules Pune Concert Amid Weather Concerns; New Date Announced

Mumbai (Maharashtra): Popular singer and rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh has postponed his much-anticipated Pune concert due to adverse weather conditions, prioritising the safety of his fans.

The artist took to Instagram to inform fans that the concert, originally scheduled for April 4, 2026, has been rescheduled to April 18, 2026. The decision was made in accordance with a government advisory warning of anticipated rain and thunderstorms in Pune.

In his note, Honey Singh wrote that despite the show being completely sold out, safety remains paramount. He assured fans that all previously purchased tickets will remain valid for the new date and expressed excitement about returning to perform in the city soon.

Concert Tour in Full Swing

Honey Singh is currently on a high-energy concert spree, having recently performed in major cities like Mumbai and Delhi. Clips from these performances have gone viral on social media, showcasing his dynamic stage presence. Notably, actress Soundarya Sharma joined him on stage during one of his performances, adding to the buzz around his tour.

Meanwhile, the rapper has also found himself in legal trouble over his controversial track Volume 1. The Delhi High Court recently directed the Central Government to ensure the song is taken down from all social and streaming platforms.

The court observed that the song contains obscene, vulgar, and derogatory content towards women, stating that such material cannot be justified under artistic freedom or freedom of expression. The track, originally released in 2006 by Honey Singh and Badshah, has since come under scrutiny.

Justice Purushaindra Kumar Kaurav issued the directive while hearing a petition filed by the organisation Hindu Shakti Dal and others. Notices have been sent to both Honey Singh and Badshah, with the next hearing scheduled for May 7.
