After the release of The Paradise, Nani has responded to the feedback from audiences, reviewers and critics. Srikanth Odela and Nani’s second film together hit theatres on Thursday, following paid premieres on Wednesday.
The film gave Nani the biggest opening of his career, but it also received mixed reactions and criticism from audiences and critics. Addressing the response in a note shared on Friday, Nani said he has seen all the reactions to the film and enjoyed both the love and the trolling.
In a note posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, Nani wrote that he had gone through the responses and feedback since the film’s release.

“I have seen all your reactions and responses. I’ve received all your love and equally enjoyed your hilarious trolls. I’m heartwarmed by the way audience have owned the film, and also learnt from the flaws that critics and reviewers have pointed out,” he wrote.
Nani also thanked everyone for sharing their opinions. He said that The Paradise was made with a lot of “blood and sweat” with the intention of giving audiences a different experience.
“Thank you for everything is all I can say. We have made #TheParadise with a lot of blood and sweat to give you a unique experience, and it’s all yours to celebrate or judge. With the excitement you had for the film and the affection you showed on me, I am filled with gratitude. Nani,” his note read.
Fans React to Nani’s Early Response
Since The Paradise was only in its second day of release and still had the entire weekend ahead, some fans were surprised that Nani addressed the criticism so quickly.
One person commented, “This tweet should have ‘waited’ at least until the end of Sunday, Nani Garu.”
Another wrote, “That’s a graceful response Nani garu. But you should have waited till the weekend, at least. You all worked as a team, and now for your own credibility, putting the producers in a difficult position doesn’t feel right.”
Some fans also brought up Yash and his film Toxic, questioning why the actor had not responded publicly to the criticism surrounding that film.
One comment read, “Hey @TheNameIsYash Boss, You would have Tweeted like this when Toxic was going through with a lot of forced negativity along with genuine criticism. But you went to the cave and slept. This type of tweet/or something was much needed at that time.”
At the same time, several fans praised Nani for acknowledging the criticism instead of focusing only on the film’s strong opening. They called his response graceful and appreciated his willingness to accept feedback.
One hopeful fan wrote, “Don’t worry anna, comeback gattiga ivvu,” encouraging Nani to come back strongly with his next project.
Other fans asked Nani to consider returning to the kind of family-friendly films he has previously delivered, mentioning movies such as Hi Nanna, Ante Sundaraniki and Gang Leader.
Another comment advised him, “Bro, whatever happened has happened. But next time, please question the director when a scene makes no sense, starting with the opening scene.”
With The Paradise still at the beginning of its theatrical run, the film’s box-office performance and audience response over the weekend will give a clearer picture of how it eventually performs. For now, Nani’s decision to acknowledge both the praise and criticism has become one of the talking points surrounding the film.
