Television actor Dipika Kakar continues to fight her battle against stage 2 liver cancer with remarkable strength and positivity. The actor recently gave fans another update on her health while undergoing infusion therapy, revealing that the treatment has now become a regular part of her life.
Dipika’s husband, Shoaib Ibrahim, shared a vlog from the hospital, giving fans a glimpse of the actor’s ongoing treatment and reassuring them that she is recovering well despite the challenges.
Dipika Undergoes Infusion Therapy
In the video, Dipika is seen resting on a hospital bed while receiving her scheduled infusion treatment. Although she appeared tired, she greeted fans with a smile and remained optimistic throughout the process.
Shoaib explained that doctors also administered iron through an IV after her recent tests showed slightly low iron levels.
“Her iron levels were a little low the last time, so they’re giving her iron through an IV as well. After that, we’ll hopefully head home in another one-and-a-half to two hours,” he shared.
‘Everything Is Fine’
Addressing her fans directly, Dipika reassured everyone that she was doing well.
She explained that the dizziness she was experiencing was due to the pre-medication given before the infusion.
“Everything’s good. I just feel a little dizzy because they gave me a medicine beforehand, which causes drowsiness. Otherwise, everything is absolutely fine.”
Her positive attitude and calm approach once again won the hearts of her fans, who have been praying for her speedy recovery.
Treatment Has Become a Routine
Shoaib also revealed that the treatment schedule has now become a regular part of their lives.
Unlike the previous session, which required an overnight hospital stay, this time the procedure was completed as a day-care treatment, allowing them to return home the same evening.
“This has now become a routine every 20-21 days,” Shoaib said.
He added that they were especially happy to be able to get back home to their young son, Ruhaan.

Shoaib Opens Up About Son Ruhaan
The actor also spoke about how their son, Ruhaan, has been emotionally affected during Dipika’s treatment.
According to Shoaib, the little one has become much more attached to his mother over the past few weeks.
He shared that since several family members had been away, Ruhaan spent most of his time with Dipika and now constantly looks for her, making it difficult whenever she has to visit the hospital.
Dipika’s Cancer Journey
Earlier this year, Dipika revealed that she had been diagnosed with stage 2 liver cancer. She underwent surgery to remove the tumour and has since been undergoing further treatment.
In June, she informed fans that doctors had detected two new cysts during follow-up examinations. As part of her treatment plan, she was advised to begin immunotherapy, along with regular infusion sessions.
Throughout her health journey, Dipika has chosen to remain transparent with her fans by documenting her treatment through YouTube vlogs. From hospital visits and emotional moments to signs of recovery, she has continued sharing every step of her journey.

Dipika Kakar started her career as an air hostess before entering the television industry. She rose to fame with her role as Simar in the hit TV show Sasural Simar Ka, becoming one of television’s most loved actresses.
