Speculation surrounding Salman Khan’s remuneration for his upcoming film SVC63 has been put to rest after the makers issued an official clarification. Recent reports had claimed that the Bollywood superstar had reduced his acting fee by nearly 40%, allegedly agreeing to charge ₹70 crore instead of his reported remuneration of over ₹120 crore. However, the production house has now dismissed these claims, calling them completely inaccurate.
The reports quickly gained attention on social media, with many suggesting that Salman had agreed to lower his fee as part of a new strategy for the upcoming big-budget project. The news sparked widespread discussion among fans and industry watchers, but the producers have now clarified that the information being circulated is not true.
In an official statement shared with Bollywood Hungama, Sri Venkateswara Creations, the banner backing SVC63, categorically denied the reports.
“We have come across several reports circulating regarding Salman Khan’s remuneration for SVC63. We would like to categorically state that these reports are completely false and baseless,” the statement read.
The production house further explained that it does not disclose confidential financial details related to its films. It also stated that not only the reports about Salman’s fee but also the figures being circulated regarding the film’s overall budget are incorrect.
“As producers, we do not comment on or disclose confidential business or financial arrangements related to our projects. The figures currently being circulated, including those relating to the film’s budget, are purely speculative and factually incorrect,” the statement added.
The makers also appealed to media organisations to verify information directly with the production house before publishing such reports.
“We sincerely request members of the media to reach out to us for any clarification pertaining to SVC63 before publishing such reports,” the statement concluded.
SVC63 marks the much-anticipated collaboration between Salman Khan and acclaimed Telugu filmmaker Vamshi Paidipally, who is known for directing films such as Maharshi and Varisu. Although the film’s storyline and cast are still under wraps, the project has already generated significant buzz due to the combination of one of Bollywood’s biggest stars and a successful South Indian filmmaker.
With the makers now officially denying the rumours, it is clear that the reports regarding Salman’s remuneration and the film’s budget were unfounded. Fans are now eagerly awaiting official announcements about the film’s cast, shooting schedule, and release plans instead of relying on speculation.
