Alia Bhatt may be one of Bollywood’s biggest stars today, but according to the actress, the spotlight could one day belong to her daughter, Raha Kapoor.
During her appearance at the Amrit Ratna 2026 summit in New Delhi, Alia opened up about motherhood and shared adorable details about her little girl. While talking about her own childhood dream of becoming an actor, the conversation naturally shifted to Raha and whether she had inherited her parents’ love for the arts.
With a smile, Alia revealed that Raha is already showing signs of being a natural performer.
“She is also meant for the stage, if I can say so myself,” Alia said proudly.
The actress shared that Raha is curious about many different activities and has a growing interest in sports as well. However, it is her love for music and dance that has particularly caught Alia’s attention.
“Woh filmy bhi bahut hai, gaane bhi achhe se sunti hai. She wants to dance and picks up steps very fast,” Alia said, describing her daughter’s playful and energetic personality.
According to the actress, Raha enjoys exploring different interests, whether it is art, dance, sports or creative activities. Alia believes it is still too early to predict what path her daughter will eventually choose, but she already sees leadership qualities in her.
“My little girl is still growing, observing and trying different things. But she’s a leader and a thinker in her own way,” Alia added.
Alia and Ranbir Kapoor welcomed Raha in November 2022, just months after their wedding in April that year. Since then, the couple has occasionally shared glimpses of their journey as parents while maintaining a balance between public life and family time.
Fans have often noticed the strong bond Alia and Ranbir share with their daughter, and Alia’s latest comments have only added to the excitement surrounding the little Kapoor. While it may be too soon to know whether Raha will eventually step into the entertainment industry, her mother’s words suggest that she already possesses the confidence, curiosity and charm that often define future performers.
On the professional front, Alia is gearing up for the release of Alpha, the latest addition to the YRF Spy Universe. She will also be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s highly anticipated Love & War alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
For now, however, it seems Alia’s favourite role remains that of a proud mother, watching her daughter discover the world one dance step at a time.
