The deaths of actor Sushant Singh Rajput and celebrity manager Disha Salian have remained the subject of intense public discussion, with several allegations and conspiracy theories continuing to circulate over the years. However, it is important to distinguish between claims made by individuals and findings established through official investigations.
A former Cooper Hospital mortuary staffer, Roopkumar Shah, had claimed that he noticed unusual injuries on Sushant Singh Rajput’s body during the postmortem and suspected foul play. He alleged that some of the injuries were inconsistent with suicide.
However, these claims were disputed by the official medical findings. The AIIMS forensic panel ruled out poisoning and strangulation and concluded that Rajput’s death was consistent with hanging. Therefore, allegations involving a stun gun, repeated choking or unexplained injuries to his eyes have not been established by credible official evidence.
Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his Mumbai residence in June 2020. His death led to multiple investigations and widespread public speculation, but the official medical findings did not establish murder.
Disha Salian’s death has also been surrounded by several serious allegations and conspiracy theories. She died in June 2020 after falling from a building in Mumbai, and various claims about the circumstances of her death have circulated since then.
The Bombay High Court has directed the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to investigate aspects of the circumstances surrounding Salian’s death. However, claims that she was raped and murdered have not been established as facts, and no person has been judicially found guilty of causing her death.
The continued discussion around both cases shows how allegations can spread widely, particularly on social media. But claims, suspicions and theories should not be treated as established facts unless they are supported by credible evidence and official findings.
For now, the distinction between allegations and confirmed findings remains important when discussing the deaths of Sushant Singh Rajput and Disha Salian.
