Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has completed the sale of one of his apartments in Mumbai’s Bandra West for ₹3.50 crore, according to property registration documents accessed by CRE Matrix. The transaction has once again highlighted the actor’s long-standing connection with Mumbai’s premium Bandra neighbourhood.
The apartment, located in Shiv-Asthan Heights, was originally purchased by Salman in 2015 for ₹2.88 crore. After holding the property for more than a decade, the actor has now sold it for ₹3.50 crore.
Salman Khan’s 758 sq ft apartment sold
According to the registered property documents, the apartment has a carpet area of 758 sq ft and comes with two car parking spaces. The deal works out to approximately ₹46,000 per sq ft based on the carpet area.
The sale was registered on July 9, 2026, with multiple homebuyers involved in the transaction. The buyers reportedly paid ₹21 lakh in stamp duty, along with a registration fee of ₹30,000.
Salman and the buyers later entered into a deed of transfer on July 23 to formally complete the ownership transfer.
A profitable property investment
Salman had purchased the apartment for ₹2.88 crore in 2015 and sold it for ₹3.50 crore, giving him a difference of around ₹62 lakh between the purchase and sale prices, before considering taxes, transaction costs and other expenses.
The latest transaction adds to the actor’s history of property dealings in Bandra, one of Mumbai’s most sought-after residential areas.
Salman has been closely associated with Bandra for decades. He continues to live with his family at the iconic Galaxy Apartments on Bandstand, which has become one of the most recognisable celebrity homes in Mumbai.
Salman has previously sold another Bandra property
This isn’t the first time Salman has made headlines for a property sale in the area. In July 2025, he reportedly sold another apartment in Shiv-Asthan Heights for ₹5.35 crore.
That property was larger, with a built-up area of around 1,318 sq ft. The repeated property transactions show the actor’s continued involvement in Mumbai’s high-value real estate market.
New residential project near Galaxy Apartments
Salman was also in the news earlier this year after the Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority (MCZMA) reportedly cleared plans for the construction of a residential tower at Chimbai in Bandra.
The proposed development is located only a few hundred metres from Galaxy Apartments, where Salman has lived since 1974. The project has added further interest to the actor’s long-standing association with the Bandra property market.
Bandra remains Bollywood’s favourite neighbourhood
Bandra West has traditionally been one of Mumbai’s most popular addresses for Bollywood celebrities. Areas such as Bandstand, Pali Hill and Carter Road are known for their luxury homes and celebrity residences.
Several major names from the Hindi film industry have homes in and around the area, including Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Javed Akhtar, Shabana Azmi, Rekha and Sanjay Dutt.
With Salman Khan’s latest ₹3.50-crore property sale, Bandra’s reputation as one of Bollywood’s most closely watched real estate hubs continues to remain strong.
