Held at Mayfield Yash Garden, the two-day event drew over 25,000 fans, reaffirming Pune’s reputation as the cultural capital of Maharashtra and a growing hotspot for fandom communities.
From the moment the gates opened, the venue buzzed with energy as students, artists, families, and young professionals poured in. Attendees explored artist alleys, comic showcases, collectibles, and interactive zones, reflecting the city’s deep-rooted love for storytelling and self-expression—traits long associated with its theatre circuits, literary legacy, and bustling college culture across iconic areas like FC Road, JM Road, and Koregaon Park.
One of the biggest highlights of the weekend was the spectacular cosplay showcase. Hundreds of participants transformed into fan-favourite characters from anime, comics, films, and games. From Doctor Octopus of Spider-Man to The Flash from DC Comics, and popular anime characters like Gojo from Jujutsu Kaisen, the creativity and craftsmanship on display captivated audiences. The cosplay contest added to the excitement, with participants competing for daily prizes, while the Indian Championship of Cosplay 2026 – Pune Qualifier crowned Jessica Das as the winner for her portrayal of Maleficent.
The creators’ stage remained a focal point throughout the event, hosting engaging sessions with global and Indian talent. Renowned creators like Josh Blaylock shared the stage with Indian artists such as Savio Mascarenhas, Abhijeet Kini, Saumin Suresh Patel, Vibha Rao, and Alaina Vinayak. Their discussions offered insights into visual storytelling, comic creation, and the blending of Indian and global narratives. Sessions like The Webtoon Creator’s Guide and Creators Across Borders highlighted the evolving creative landscape, while community-driven segments like the Pune Anime Community spotlight celebrated grassroots fandoms.
Entertainment extended beyond panels, with comedy and music adding dynamic layers to the experience. Performers like Vivek Desai, Siddhartha Shetty, and Fatima Ayesha brought laughter to the crowd, while musical acts such as Geek Fruit and Voctronica energized audiences with diverse sounds ranging from hip-hop to all-vocal orchestration.
The immersive experience continued across the show floor, where fans engaged with gaming zones, live challenges, and brand activations. Highlights included installations by Warner Bros. and Universal Pictures, anime-themed spaces at the Crunchyroll Zone, and interactive setups like racing simulators and VR cricket experiences. Popular gaming creator Tanmay Singh also made a special appearance, drawing enthusiastic crowds.
