The film and television industry came together to pay their last respects to veteran actor Mushtaq Khan, whose funeral was attended by several actors, comedians and filmmakers. Many of his colleagues and friends visited his home and remembered the actor for his work and contribution to Hindi cinema.
Among those who arrived was Rajat Bedi, who paid his last respects to Mushtaq Khan. The two actors had worked together in films including Jodi No. 1 (2001), Kaaboo (2002), Dhamki (2005) and other projects.

Manish Wadhwa, known for his work in films and television, was also seen at Mushtaq Khan’s residence during the last rites. Comedian Ahsaan Qureshi also visited the actor’s home to pay his respects.
Several other familiar faces from the film and television industry were present, including actors Sharad Malhotra and Shahbaz Khan. Directors and veteran actors such as Sulabha Arya and Anang Desai also came to bid farewell to the late actor.
Sulabha Arya and Mushtaq Khan had shared the screen in films including Hera Pheri (2000), Aadmi (1993) and other projects. Anang Desai had also worked with Mushtaq Khan in Hindi films over the years.
Singer and actor Talat Aziz was also seen at the funeral as he joined others in paying his final respects.

Mushtaq Khan’s son Mohsin spoke to Bollywood Chronicle about how his father should be remembered. During this difficult time, he said that instead of only mourning his death, the family and those who loved him should celebrate his life and work.
He said, “It’s definitely a difficult time for those who loved him and loved his work. But instead of only mourning, let us celebrate his life. It is true that he is no longer with us, but his memories and his work will always remain with us.”
Mohsin also revealed that his father had been hoping to return to work, but his health did not allow him to resume his career.
For his family, the loss is deeply painful. Mushtaq Khan was not only a respected actor but also a father and husband. His family is now coping with the loss while holding on to the memories he left behind.
The many colleagues who attended his funeral showed how deeply Mushtaq Khan was respected in the industry. His characters, comic timing and memorable performances will continue to remain a part of Hindi cinema’s memories.
