A new promo for Kaun Banega Crorepati has delighted fans as Madhuri Dixit recreated her iconic Devdas character Chandramukhi, leaving Amitabh Bachchan visibly impressed.
As part of Amitabh Bachchan’s birthday week special on Kaun Banega Crorepati, Madhuri Dixit appeared on the show as a contestant. The actor, who currently hosts the Marathi version Kon Honar Crorepati, brought her charm and grace to the KBC stage.
Madhuri Dixit recreates her Chandramukhi magic
In the new promo, Amitabh asks the computer to play a song for Madhuri. Dressed beautifully in pink, Madhuri performs to the popular Devdas song Kaahe Chhed Mohe while remaining seated.
As Madhuri effortlessly gets into the character of Chandramukhi, Amitabh can be seen walking around and watching her performance with admiration. The audience cheers as Madhuri showcases her signature expressions and graceful ada.
Impressed by her performance, Amitabh applauds and says, “Kya baat hai. Incredible, incredible, Madhuri ji.”
Sony Entertainment Television shared the promo on social media with the caption, “Madhuri ka andaaz, sabke liye khaas. Dekhiye Kaun Banega Crorepati, Mon-Fri raat 9 baje, sirf Sony Entertainment Television aur Sony LIV par.”

Fans excited to see two legends together
The promo quickly caught the attention of fans, who were equally impressed by Madhuri’s performance. Many expressed excitement about the special episode and praised the chemistry between the two veteran stars.

Amitabh Bachchan’s knee injury on KBC set
Amitabh Bachchan, who was last seen in Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898 AD, will soon return in its sequel alongside Prabhas and Kamal Haasan. Meanwhile, the veteran actor is currently busy shooting for Season 18 of Kaun Banega Crorepati.
In a recent episode, Amitabh revealed that he had slipped and injured his knee during the shoot. He entered the set running towards his seat before quickly sitting down and explaining why he was not delivering his usual monologue while standing.
“Usually, I do my monologue standing at the centre, but today, I have a knee injury. Yesterday, during the shoot, I slipped and fell and injured my knee,” he said.
Despite the injury, Amitabh continues to host the show, while the upcoming Madhuri Dixit episode has already created excitement among fans.
