The video, shared by his wife Romi Mitra, captures a candid exchange where young Anvi repeatedly asks her father if she can meet star Indian batter Shubman Gill. Saha’s response, however, turned into a gentle but powerful lesson in humility.
“You want to meet Shubman Gill? Ok! But like everyone else, you’ll have to wait in line and meet him. No unfair advantage will be given,” he told her.
When Anvi reminded him that he had once shared the dressing room with Gill during their time at Gujarat Titans in the IPL, Saha calmly replied that those days were in the past—reinforcing the idea that privilege should not override fairness.
