Six years may have passed since the untimely death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, but his memories continue to live on in the hearts of his family, friends and millions of fans across the world. On his sixth death anniversary, his sister Shweta Singh Kirti shared a heartfelt message, choosing to remember not the tragedy of his passing but the beauty of the life he lived.
Taking to Instagram, Shweta posted a collection of old photographs of Sushant along with an AI-generated image imagining him as Lord Rama. Alongside the pictures, she penned an emotional note that reflected on his personality, dreams and the values he stood for.
“Six years… Time has passed, yet some souls continue to grow larger than time itself. When I think of Bhai today, I do not think of how he left, I think of how he lived,” she wrote.

Remembering her brother, Shweta spoke about his childlike curiosity and his deep fascination with the universe, science and life itself. She described him as someone who treated everyone with kindness and respect, regardless of their background, and believed that true success had meaning only when it was accompanied by compassion.
She also shared that over the years she has realised that love does not fade with time. According to her, while a person may no longer be physically present, the impact of a beautiful soul continues to inspire countless lives.
Shweta said that the best way to honour Sushant is not through grief but by living the values he believed in.
She encouraged people to remain curious, kind and fearless in chasing their dreams. She added that every act of kindness, hope and learning helps keep a part of Sushant’s spirit alive.
“The greatest tribute we can offer him is not sadness. It is to live the values he embodied. Be curious. Be kind. Keep learning. Dream fearlessly. And never let the world harden your heart,” she wrote.
Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his Bandra residence on June 14, 2020. His death shocked the entire nation and led to several investigations. The case remained in the spotlight for years, with multiple agencies examining different aspects surrounding the incident.
His family had filed a case against actress Rhea Chakraborty, alleging abetment to suicide, while separate investigations into alleged drug-related matters were also launched. In 2025, the Central Bureau of Investigation submitted its closure report, giving Rhea a clean chit in the case.
Despite the passage of time, Sushant continues to be remembered for his remarkable journey from television to Bollywood and for his performances in films such as Kai Po Che!, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, Chhichhore, Kedarnath and Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!.
More than his achievements, fans often remember him for his love of astronomy, books, science and his constant desire to learn something new.
