Actor-filmmaker Sohail Khan is stepping into the world of reality television for the first time with Prime Video’s Alliance, and he has made it clear that he has no plans to hold back. Entering the strategy-based reality show as a wildcard contestant, Sohail says viewers will finally get to see his authentic personality, beyond the image people have formed of him over the years.
Speaking about joining the show, Sohail reflected on the challenges he has faced in his personal life, saying he has experienced many ups and downs but has always believed in moving forward instead of dwelling on them. According to the actor, he doesn’t like to complain about life’s difficulties and prefers to focus on what lies ahead.
Sohail also had a strong message for his fellow contestants, warning them not to mistake his calm nature for weakness. He said many people think he is soft-spoken and keeps to himself, but cautioned that anyone trying to provoke him would see a completely different side of his personality. He added that Alliance will allow audiences to witness the “real Sohail Khan,” free from labels and preconceived notions.
Hosted by Kunal Kemmu, Alliance welcomed Sohail with a warm reception as the host greeted him with a hug upon his entry into the house. Sohail admitted that participating in a reality show is a major step outside his comfort zone and confessed that he felt both nervous and excited before entering the competition. He even sought support from the paparazzi, acknowledging that the experience was completely new for him.
His arrival has added a fresh twist to the game, with contestants visibly surprised by the wildcard entry. Joining Sohail as new entrants are influencers Vriddhi Patwa and Agu Stanlet Chiedozie, who are expected to shake up the competition. Sohail replaces Vanshaj Singh, who was recently eliminated, while actor-politician Ravi Kishan exited the show earlier due to his professional commitments.
Alliance is a strategy-driven reality series in which contestants compete through a mix of physical challenges and tactical gameplay. Hosted by Kunal Kemmu, the show began with 16 contestants entering in pairs before being split into different alliances. Every week, contestants battle to secure safety, build trust, and survive eliminations, while new wildcard entrants continue to change the dynamics inside the house.
