Kunickaa Sadanand Seemingly Confirms Breakup of Awez Darbar and Nagma Mirajkar, Says “Shayad Destiny Nahi Chahti Thi”
Social media creator and former Bigg Boss 19 contestant Nagma Mirajkar’s absence from choreographer Awez Darbar’s birthday celebration recently sparked widespread speculation about trouble in their relationship. The buzz around the couple has now intensified after fellow contestant and actor Kunickaa Sadanand appeared to confirm that the two have parted ways.
In a recent interview with Telly Masala, Kunickaa spoke candidly about Awez and Nagma’s relationship, expressing emotional attachment to both. She said she shared a strong bond with the duo and had deep affection for them, noting that they had always supported each other through their journey.
Reflecting on the breakup rumours, she added, “So, I wish ki ho sakta hai agar kuch sulah ho jaaye ya kuch ho jaaye. Jo bhi ho. Agar nahi bhi ho, dono ko acche partner mile kyuki unhe mile the aur shayad destiny nahi chahti thi.”
Her statement—translated as a hope that the two either reconcile or find loving partners in the future—was widely interpreted as an indirect confirmation that the relationship may have ended.
The relationship between Awez and Nagma first gained attention around 2019 after their frequent collaborations on social media and visible chemistry. The couple later confirmed their relationship during their stint on Bigg Boss 19, where Awez even proposed to Nagma in an emotional moment that went viral online.
Following their exit from the show, Nagma had also spoken about wedding plans with Awez, further strengthening public belief that the two were heading toward marriage. However, recent developments, including Nagma’s absence from Awez’s birthday celebration, triggered speculation about a split.
During the same birthday gathering, Awez had also hinted at personal issues, stating that the matter would be discussed properly at a later time, adding to the uncertainty surrounding their relationship status.
Neither Awez Darbar nor Nagma Mirajkar has issued an official statement confirming or denying the breakup. Meanwhile, their journey on Bigg Boss 19 saw both contestants exit early, with the season eventually being won by Gaurav Khanna, who defeated Farrhana Bhatt and Pranit More in the finale.
