Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s comeback film Maa Inti Bangaaram is enjoying a solid run at the box office. After opening on a promising note, the action-family drama witnessed impressive growth over the weekend and is now inching closer to the ₹50 crore mark worldwide.

According to trade estimates, the film collected around ₹10.10 crore net in India on Sunday, its third day in theatres. With this, the movie’s three-day domestic total has reached ₹23.1 crore net, while the gross collection in India stands at ₹26.69 crore.

The film has also been performing strongly overseas. It added nearly ₹4 crore on Sunday, taking its international gross earnings to ₹15.1 crore. Overall, Maa Inti Bangaaram has earned an estimated ₹41.79 crore worldwide in just three days, putting it within touching distance of the ₹50 crore milestone.

The Telugu version continues to drive the film’s success. On Sunday alone, it contributed around ₹9.5 crore, recording an impressive occupancy of 61 percent across more than 2,300 shows. The Tamil version also witnessed steady footfalls and collected around ₹60 lakh.

Directed by Nandini Reddy and backed by Tralala Moving Pictures, Maa Inti Bangaaram marks Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s return to cinemas after a three-year gap. The film tells the story of a woman who enters a traditional family after marriage and struggles to gain their acceptance. However, her peaceful life is shaken when a dangerous chapter from her past resurfaces, forcing her to fight to protect the same family that remains unaware of her true identity.

Samantha’s performance has received widespread praise from audiences and critics alike, with many appreciating her blend of emotional depth and action. The film also stars Gulshan Devaiah, Diganth Manchale, Sreemukhi and Gautami in important roles.

With positive word-of-mouth and no major competition affecting its momentum, Maa Inti Bangaaram looks set for a strong first week and could soon emerge as one of Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s biggest solo successes.
