Rashmika Mandanna continues to make waves on the international stage. The actress is set to return as a presenter at the 10th Global Anime Awards, scheduled for May 23, 2026, in Tokyo, Japan, following her historic debut in 2024, when she became the first Indian presenter at the prestigious event.
The Anime Awards celebrate excellence across various categories in anime, bringing together creators, performers, and global icons who share a passion for the medium. Announcing her participation on Instagram Stories, Rashmika shared, “Back to Japan. To celebrate the incredible people behind anime.” She added a heart emoji, reflecting her enthusiasm for the event.
Revisiting Rashmika’s 2024 Anime Awards Debut

In 2024, Rashmika stole the spotlight with her glamorous outfit and chic short hairstyle, making a memorable impression on the global stage. Sharing her experience, she wrote:
“Japan was a place I’ve dreamt of going to for years… since childhood. Never thought it would ever be possible… let alone be a part of an award show giving an award to one of the creators of and in the anime world!! And finally, it came true!! Being able to meet everyone here, receiving the incredible love, such a warm welcome, the food, the weather, the place so clean, such lovely people… It’s amazing! Thank you Japan! Really! I love you! Truly! You are just toooo special… I am going to keep coming back every year now.”

Personal Milestones
Rashmika Mandanna also celebrated a personal milestone earlier this year, marrying Telugu superstar Vijay Deverakonda on 26 February 2026. The couple held a Telugu wedding in the morning, honouring Vijay’s cultural roots, followed by a Kodava ceremony in the evening, celebrating Rashmika’s heritage.
The wedding was attended by notable personalities from the Telugu film industry, including Tharun Bhascker, Rahul Ravindran, Eesha Rebba, Ashika Ranganath, Sandeep Reddy Vanga, and Kalyani Priyadarshan.
Rashmika and Vijay first met on the sets of the 2018 blockbuster Geetha Govindam and later worked together in Dear Comrade (2019). Geetha Govindam became a massive hit, grossing ₹132 crore at the box office, cementing their on-screen chemistry.
