Bollywood actors Kareena Kapoor Khan and Varun Dhawan have joined the growing list of celebrities voicing support for the ongoing student protest led by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP). After Salman Khan, Alia Bhatt, Ananya Panday and several others, the two actors shared heartfelt messages on social media, urging authorities to listen to the concerns of students and work towards meaningful reforms.

Kareena Kapoor Says Students Deserve a System They Can Trust

Taking to Instagram, Kareena Kapoor shared an emotional note, saying she could no longer remain silent after watching thousands of young people demand to be heard.

She wrote that education is much more than examinations or marks—it gives children confidence, hope, and the belief that hard work can build a better future. However, she said that this belief begins to fade when students start questioning whether honesty, merit, and dedication are truly valued.

Kareena stressed that every child deserves an education system they can trust, where effort is rewarded fairly and everyone gets an equal opportunity to succeed.

She further wrote that when an entire generation raises its voice about its future, listening is not simply a gesture of kindness but a responsibility that society owes them.

According to the actor, the way people respond to students today will shape how young Indians view fairness, trust, and justice in the future.

Celebrities Continue to Support Students

Kareena and Varun are among several Bollywood celebrities who have spoken in support of the student movement over the past few days.

Actors including Salman Khan, Alia Bhatt, Nora Fatehi, Imran Khan, Rajkummar Rao, Huma Qureshi, Sonakshi Sinha, Prakash Raj, Shabana Azmi, and Naseeruddin Shah have also expressed solidarity with the students, either through social media posts or by joining protest gatherings.

About the Ongoing Protest

The CJP-led protest has continued for nearly a month at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar over allegations of irregularities in competitive examinations, including the NEET paper leak.

Students have been demanding greater transparency in the examination process, accountability for those responsible, comprehensive education reforms, and the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

The movement gained nationwide attention after the “Chalo Sansad” march, during which clashes broke out between protesters and police. Since then, demonstrations have continued across several cities, with students maintaining that they will continue their campaign until meaningful reforms are introduced and their concerns are addressed.
