Anshula Kapoor, daughter of filmmaker Boney Kapoor and sister of actor Arjun Kapoor, is all set to tie the knot with her longtime boyfriend Rohan Thakkar on July 6 in an intimate wedding ceremony.
The confirmation came from Boney Kapoor himself, who revealed that the wedding will be a simple yet meaningful celebration blending two cultures. He also shared that the entire marriage ceremony will be completed in a single day.
“The marriage will be a blend of two communities and will be completed in one day,” Boney Kapoor told IWMBuzz.
While the wedding is expected to be an intimate affair, celebrations will continue with a cocktail party, which is likely to see the presence of several members from the Hindi film industry. Guests have reportedly been asked to follow a “modern Indian” dress code, adding a contemporary touch to the festivities.
The pre-wedding celebrations have already begun on a festive note. On June 21, Rohan Thakkar’s family hosted a Mata Ki Chowki, marking the official start of the wedding festivities. Several members of the Kapoor family, including Sanjay Kapoor, Maheep Kapoor, Sunita Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, and Khushi Kapoor, attended the ceremony dressed in traditional outfits.
Sharing glimpses from the celebration, Anshula wrote that the evening was filled with blessings, love, and joy, adding that the family had already begun dancing their way into the wedding festivities.
Her brother Arjun Kapoor also expressed his excitement, posting an emotional note for his sister, saying the celebrations had just begun and that the days ahead would pass quickly.
Boney Kapoor too shared family moments on social media, describing the Mata Ki Chowki as the start of Anshula and Rohan’s wedding celebrations.
Anshula and Rohan’s love story began on a dating app, and their relationship grew stronger over time. Rohan proposed to Anshula in July last year in the scenic backdrop of Central Park in New York City.
The couple later celebrated their engagement in Mumbai in October, which was attended by close friends and family members, including Arjun Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, and Rhea Kapoor.
Now, as the couple prepares to begin a new chapter of their lives, the Kapoor family is gearing up for an intimate yet joyful wedding celebration filled with love, tradition, and modern flair.
