Punjabi singer and actor Ammy Virk was reportedly caught up in a shooting incident in Canada shortly after his concert in Abbotsford, British Columbia, on Saturday, September 5. Reports claimed that a vehicle linked to his convoy was targeted in what police are treating as a potentially targeted shooting.
According to reports, the incident took place after Ammy Virk’s concert. A report by Voice Online quoted police as saying that a vehicle travelling through the 2500 block of McCallum Road was allegedly fired upon by occupants of a dark-coloured SUV.
Multiple shots were reportedly fired at the vehicle. Some reports claimed that around seven gunshots were fired at the car in which Ammy Virk was travelling.
The vehicle was reportedly identified as a bulletproof Rolls-Royce Cullinan. Ammy Virk and the other occupants of the vehicle were reportedly unharmed, and no injuries have been reported in connection with the incident.
However, the reports have also raised questions because Ammy Virk’s father, Kuldeep Singh, has reportedly denied that any firing took place. According to BabuShahi Network, his denial has added another layer of uncertainty to the story.
