Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has shared a deeply concerning incident involving his daughter, Nitara, who was targeted by a cybercriminal while playing an online multiplayer video game. The case has since escalated into a major cybercrime investigation in Maharashtra, highlighting growing concerns around child safety in digital gaming spaces.
According to officials, the incident began when the accused initiated contact with Nitara during gameplay. What initially appeared to be a casual interaction quickly turned into an attempt at exploitation, as the individual tried to manipulate the conversation toward requesting inappropriate photographs. The act falls under sextortion, a form of cybercrime where predators coerce or attempt to coerce victims into sharing explicit content.
