AI Imagines Ranveer Singh as Lord Rama as Fans Buzz About Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayana

With Ranbir Kapoor gearing up to portray Lord Rama in Ramayana Part 1, releasing this Diwali 2026, fans have taken to social media to reimagine the iconic role. AI-generated images of Ranveer Singh as Lord Rama have gone viral, sparking excitement and discussion among netizens.

Many fans praised the AI visuals, commenting on how well Ranveer Singh could fit the role. One fan wrote, “Wow! Mere Ram! @RanveerOfficial would have nailed the Lord Rama character.” Another added, “He would’ve done it well. And yes, he would’ve pulled it off. It would’ve been a sincere portrayal. But I think he would’ve been great as Ravana. He is a very good actor and is at that age that he can pull off any character. He is even good enough for Indrajit.”

An amusing fan encounter at a Ramayana event in New York added a lighthearted moment. A fan congratulated Ranbir Kapoor for his performance in Dhurandhar 2, confusing him with another actor. The film, made on an astronomical budget of Rs 4,000 crore (approximately $500 million for both parts), is set to release in two parts: Part 1 in October 2026 and Part 2 in Diwali 2027. Producer Namit Malhotra revealed that when the project began six to seven years ago, many thought the scale was “lunatic,” but the team has since brought this vision to life with remarkable ambition.

Apart from Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi stars as Sita, while Sunny Deol, Ravi Dubey, and Yash play pivotal roles, contributing to the epic’s ensemble. As anticipation builds, fans continue to imagine alternative castings and debate who could have brought these legendary characters to life, further highlighting the film’s cultural impact and the excitement surrounding its release.
