The tragic death of television actor Sanchita Ugale has left the entertainment industry in shock and has once again raised questions about the emotional struggles many actors silently face. While police continue their investigation, actress and MTV Roadies 8 winner Aanchal Khurana has shared an emotional video, speaking about the pressures, rejection and uncertainty that, according to her, are a part of an actor’s life.
In her Instagram video, Aanchal said that Sanchita’s death is not just another news headline but a painful reminder of what many artists go through behind the scenes. She questioned whether the entertainment industry pays enough attention to the mental well-being of actors.
According to Aanchal, the industry often focuses on television ratings, budgets and entertainment, while the emotional struggles of performers are ignored. She said that people see the glamour, fame and social media popularity, but they rarely see the anxiety, stress and disappointments that many actors carry every day.

The actress also made serious allegations about exploitation in the industry. She claimed that actors can be replaced over small disagreements or for standing up for themselves. Aanchal further alleged that some performers face pressure to compromise their self-respect to protect their careers. These are her personal allegations and experiences, and they have not been independently verified.
Sharing her own journey, Aanchal said she has faced similar challenges. According to her, even after giving a good audition and proving their talent, actors can lose opportunities for minor financial reasons or because they refuse to do things they are uncomfortable with.
She also spoke about the endless cycle of hope and heartbreak that many artists experience. In her words, actors wake up every morning with dreams, attend auditions hoping for a breakthrough and often end the day dealing with rejection, comparisons and uncertainty about their future.
Aanchal questioned the advice people often give to those who are struggling emotionally. She said everyone tells actors to “stay strong,” but very few people explain how long a person can continue fighting disappointment after disappointment without breaking down.
The actress further criticised what she described as a system where profits sometimes become more important than people. She alleged that many actors and influencers are silently battling stress and depression while trying to survive in a highly competitive profession.
One of the most emotional parts of her message was her personal confession that she too had been under immense pressure. Aanchal revealed that she is currently staying with her parents in Delhi because she felt the need to be close to her family during a difficult phase in her life.
She urged anyone going through emotional pain not to isolate themselves. According to her, if life ever feels overwhelming, people should return to their loved ones, seek support and never believe they have to fight their battles alone.
Aanchal also said that during life’s darkest moments, fame, producers or television channels may not stand beside a person, but family often does. She appealed to people to stay connected with those who care about them and to ask for help whenever they need it.
According to police officials, Sanchita Ugale died on June 14 at a residence in Nalasopara. An Accidental Death Report (ADR) has been registered, and the matter is under investigation.
Aanchal Khurana’s emotional message has now started a larger conversation about mental health, workplace pressure and the need for better support systems in the entertainment industry. Her words have reminded many that behind every actor seen on screen is a person dealing with dreams, fears, failures and emotions that are often hidden from the public eye.
