Actor Sonakshi Sinha has once again highlighted the importance of personal space after a recent interaction with paparazzi caught attention online. Known for maintaining a friendly relationship with photographers, Sonakshi firmly asked them to step back while leaving an event in Mumbai, making it clear that she wanted her privacy respected.
The incident took place on Sunday when Sonakshi attended the wedding reception of actor Akansha Ranjan Kapoor and filmmaker Sharan Sharma. Several videos from the event surfaced on social media, but one particular clip stood out as it showed the actor calmly but firmly setting boundaries with the paparazzi.
In the video, Sonakshi can be seen standing near her car while photographers continued clicking pictures and recording videos. Instead of getting inside immediately, she waited and requested them to stop filming and move away from the vehicle.
The actor was heard saying, “Bas guys, abhi gaadi ke andar nahi hai. Ho gaya. Thank you. Bye. Good night.” When the photographers still did not move, she added, “Jab tak aap nahi jaoge, main nahi baithungi,” making it clear that she would only enter the car once they gave her enough space.

After her request, the photographers stopped recording, allowing Sonakshi to comfortably get inside her vehicle. The moment quickly went viral, with many fans appreciating the actor for politely but confidently communicating her boundaries.
This is not the first time Sonakshi has addressed the issue of paparazzi crossing personal limits. Recently, she had spoken out after photographers surrounded her parents, veteran actors Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha, while they were trying to get into their car after a dinner outing. Sonakshi had expressed concern about giving her family enough space during such moments.
Sonakshi has often shared a warm bond with the paparazzi and is known for her cheerful interactions with them. However, her recent actions reflect a growing conversation among celebrities about maintaining a balance between public attention and personal privacy.
On the professional front, Sonakshi Sinha made her Bollywood debut with Dabangg opposite Salman Khan in 2010 and went on to become a popular name with films like Rowdy Rathore, Lootera, and Akira. She was recently seen in Prime Video’s film System, directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, alongside Jyothika and Ashutosh Gowariker. She also has Dahaad Season 2 in the pipeline.
Apart from acting, Sonakshi has also expanded her digital presence through her YouTube channel, where she shares makeup, skincare, lifestyle content, and fun moments with her husband Zaheer Iqbal, earning a strong fan following online.
