Even as Peddi continues its impressive run at the box office and sparks debate online, actor Allu Arjun has come out in strong support of the film and its team. The Pushpa star took to social media to share a heartfelt note after watching the movie, praising cousin Ram Charan’s performance and extending his love to the entire cast and crew, including Janhvi Kapoor.
Allu Arjun revealed that he watched Peddi recently and was deeply impressed by Ram Charan’s transformation and dedication to the role.
“Watched Peddi last night. Mind-blowing performance by my dear Ram Charan. A gritty, raw performance, extraordinary body transformation, and graceful dance moves. He absolutely aced it in every aspect. Genuinely very proud of my brother. Truly deserves every bit of the applause,” he wrote.
The actor also appreciated veteran star Jagapathi Babu and acknowledged the efforts of the entire team. In a message that caught fans’ attention, Allu Arjun sent his best wishes to Janhvi Kapoor, writing, “Striking performance by Jagapathi Babu garu and all the other artists. Love to the leading lady, Janhvi Kapoor. Compliments to all the technicians and producers.”
He reserved special praise for director Buchi Babu Sana, crediting him for bringing out the best in the cast. “My warm regards to the captain of the ship, Buchi Babu garu, for elevating everyone and putting Charan garu on a high pedestal. Congratulations to the entire team of Peddi,” he added.

Interestingly, Allu Arjun’s appreciation comes at a time when the film has been facing criticism from a section of viewers over the portrayal of Janhvi Kapoor’s character, Achiyyamma. Some social media users have accused the makers of objectifying the character, leading to online discussions around the film’s presentation. Amid the backlash, Allu Arjun’s supportive message for Janhvi has become a talking point among fans.
Despite the controversy, Peddi has emerged as a massive box office success. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film has been drawing huge crowds and is on the verge of crossing the Rs 250 crore mark worldwide. In India, it has already earned nearly Rs 170 crore net, while overseas collections have further boosted its global total.
With glowing reviews from industry colleagues and a strong box office performance, Peddi continues to dominate conversations, and Allu Arjun’s public endorsement has only added to the film’s momentum.
