Ranveer Allahbadia Shares How Yoga Transformed His Skin, Hair, and Mental Health: “No Beer, Just Breathwork and Consistency”
Entrepreneur and podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia, widely known for his fitness-focused content, has opened up about how yoga and disciplined lifestyle habits have significantly transformed his physical appearance and mental well-being. The BeerBiceps founder says his long-term commitment to yoga, stretching, and breathwork has not only improved his health but also brought visible changes in his skin and hair.
Yoga and Breathwork Behind His “Glow”
Speaking about his personal journey, Ranveer said that consistent yoga practice has played a key role in improving his overall appearance and mental clarity. According to him, the changes were not immediate but became noticeable over time with disciplined practice.
“I get a lot of compliments for my skin now. Know that my skin used to be very bad before yoga. The glow that you can see these days is all happening because I’ve reached a fairly advanced stage of stretching, yoga, breathing, and exercise,” he said.
He explained that improved circulation and flexibility from yoga have had a direct impact on his skin health, something he did not anticipate when he first started.

Beyond skin improvements, Ranveer also highlighted positive changes in hair health, which he described as an unexpected benefit of his routine.
“Good hair… which is a problem for a lot of boys, and I think girls also have a lot of hair loss problems. You’ll be surprised to see how much it positively affects your hair health also,” he said.
Mental Health and Reduced Overthinking
One of the biggest advantages of yoga, according to Ranveer, has been its impact on mental well-being. He emphasized that breath control and movement-based practices have helped reduce overthinking and improve focus.
“Most importantly, mental health and overthinking. This is why I said this is a brain-boosting fitness plan,” he noted.
He added that yoga helps calm mental noise, making it easier to think clearly and manage stress.
A Practical Fitness Philosophy
Ranveer also stressed the importance of time-efficient routines, encouraging people to adopt fitness practices that are sustainable in daily life.
“Take activities that are highly practical and that allow you to save time,” he said.
He added that the time saved from efficient workouts can be used productively for reading, career planning, and personal growth.
“Jo time bachta hai na usme kitaben padho, career ke bare mein socho, aur socho salary kaise increase karoge,” he said.
Short, Consistent Yoga Sessions
Advocating simplicity, Ranveer said yoga does not need to be long or complicated. Even short sessions of 10–15 minutes can be effective if done consistently.
“Har yoga session ek ghante se zyada lambi nahi hoti,” he explained.
For beginners, he recommended focusing on basic stretches like ankles, hips, hamstrings, and calves rather than advanced poses.
Night Routine for Better Sleep
Ranveer also shared a simple night-time stretching routine aimed at improving sleep quality. He suggested poses such as pigeon pose, hamstring stretches, downward dog, lat stretches, and camel pose.
“Raat mein jab aap ye karne lagte ho, aapko neend bahut jaldi aa jati hai. You sleep well,” he said.
He emphasized that night yoga helps relax the body and calm the mind before sleep.
No Shortcuts, Just Consistency
Concluding his thoughts, Ranveer reiterated that yoga is not about extreme discipline or long hours but about consistency and awareness. He emphasized breath control, posture correction, and gradual progression as key elements of the practice.
His message remains simple: sustainable habits, even in small doses, can lead to visible improvements in physical appearance, mental clarity, and overall lifestyle quality.
