Dhurandhar 2 Box Office Day 22: Ranveer Singh Starrer Nears Historic Milestone

The box office run of Dhurandhar 2, starring Ranveer Singh, continues to shatter records as the film edges closer to becoming India’s highest-grossing movie of all time. Even in its fourth week, the film is maintaining a steady pace, adding significant numbers to its already massive total.

Strong Numbers on Day 22

According to trade reports, Dhurandhar 2 earned ₹7.15 crore on Thursday across 12,418 shows. With this, the film’s gross box office collection in India has reached ₹1,255.33 crore, while its domestic net collection stands at ₹1,048.42 crore.

The film is also performing well internationally, collecting ₹3.00 crore overseas on the same day. Its total overseas gross has now touched ₹410.00 crore, pushing the worldwide gross collection to an impressive ₹1,665.23 crore.

Closing in on the Top Spot

The film is now inching closer to surpassing Pushpa 2, led by Allu Arjun, which currently holds a domestic net collection of ₹1,234.10 crore. To claim the top position, Dhurandhar 2 still needs approximately ₹185.68 crore more in India.

Notably, the film has already overtaken Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, directed by S. S. Rajamouli, which had earned ₹1,030.42 crore in domestic net collections.

Week-by-Week Performance

Dhurandhar 2 opened with a bang, collecting ₹102.55 crore on its first day (March 19). Including paid previews on March 18, the film earned ₹43 crore even before its official release.

  • Week 1: ₹674.17 crore
  • Week 2: ₹263.65 crore (sharp drop but still strong)
  • Week 3 onward: Gradual decline, with daily collections stabilizing between ₹7–10 crore

Despite the expected slowdown after the initial weeks, the film has shown remarkable consistency, especially during weekdays.

A Sequel That Surpassed Expectations

The original Dhurandhar, released in December 2025, was already a massive success. However, the sequel surpassed the lifetime collection of the first installment within just 11 days—highlighting its unprecedented popularity.

Apart from Ranveer Singh, the film features Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, and Sanjay Dutt, all reprising their roles.

Multi-Language Success

Unlike its predecessor, Dhurandhar 2 released in multiple languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. This wider reach has played a crucial role in boosting its box office numbers across regions.
