Shah Rukh Khan Goes Gaga Over Allu Arjun’s Raaka First Look, Calls It “Mass Masss Massss”
The much-anticipated first look of Raaka, starring Allu Arjun and directed by Atlee, was finally unveiled on Wednesday, April 8. The special reveal coincided with Atlee’s 44th birthday, making it a double celebration for fans. Previously referred to as AA22xA6, the project has now been officially titled Raaka.
While the poster quickly garnered praise across the industry, it was Shah Rukh Khan’s reaction that truly stole the spotlight. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the superstar shared his excitement and admiration for the film’s first look.
Wishing Allu Arjun on his birthday, Shah Rukh Khan wrote, “The poster is intriguing and amazing, just like you are. Can’t wait to see what you guys have put together.” He further added, “This experience will be… in Atlee’s words – Mass masss massss!! #Raaka looks so exciting, all the best!!”

The first look poster showcases Allu Arjun in a never-seen-before avatar. Sporting heavy prosthetic makeup and intense kohl-rimmed eyes, the actor embraces a dark, almost devilish persona. A striking detail—a large claw emerging from his woollen outfit—hints at a fierce and mysterious character, instantly sparking curiosity among fans.
Adding to the scale, the makers released the poster in nine different languages, including Hindi and English, along with several regional versions—clearly signaling a massive pan-India release. The tagline accompanying the reveal read, “Prepare yourself for a vision beyond limits.”
Raaka also marks the first collaboration between Allu Arjun and Atlee, making it one of the most awaited projects in Indian cinema. According to reports, Allu Arjun will be seen in four distinct roles, portraying a grandfather, a father, and two sons. The film also features Deepika Padukone in a pivotal role and is being produced by Sun Pictures.
With a powerful first look and strong buzz already building, Raaka promises to be a cinematic spectacle that fans across the country are eagerly waiting for.
