IIT Baba Abhay Singh Marries Engineer Pratika, Begins New Life in Dharamshala
Abhay Singh, popularly known as IIT Baba for his spiritual journey during the Mahakumbh Mela, has embarked on a new chapter in life after marrying Pratika.
The couple tied the knot on the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri (February 15, 2026) at the Aghanjr Mahadev Temple in Himachal Pradesh, followed by a court marriage on February 19. Keeping the ceremony private, the details were shared publicly only recently.
After their wedding, Abhay and Pratika visited his hometown in Jhajjar, Haryana, where their arrival surprised family members and drew crowds of local followers. The couple revealed that they met about a year ago and are now living together in Dharamshala, beginning their married life while continuing Abhay’s spiritual work.
Abhay Singh gained nationwide attention during the Mahakumbh Mela for leaving his engineering career to pursue a spiritual path, earning the affectionate nickname “IIT Baba.” His dedication to spirituality, combined with his modern-day roots, has inspired many followers across India.
