Ahaan Panday and Sharvari Begin Shoot for Ali Abbas Zafar’s Upcoming Action Romance
After his successful stint in Mohit Suri’s Saiyaara, Ahaan Panday is all set to headline his next project under the direction of Ali Abbas Zafar. Produced by Yash Raj Films, the yet-untitled action romance marks another high-profile collaboration for the young actor.
The director shared a glimpse of the film’s launch on social media, posting a photo of the clapperboard with Ahaan Panday and captioning it, “And it begins,” officially announcing the start of the shooting schedule.
Alongside Ahaan, Sharvari has been signed as the female lead. Known for her blockbuster success in Munjya, Sharvari will star opposite Panday in what promises to be a youthful, high-octane romance. Sources confirm that both actors bring significant box office credibility, making them the perfect choice for a film that balances action and romance.
Adding an intriguing twist, Aaishvary Thackeray of Nishaanchi fame has been roped in to play an antagonist. Aaishvary, the grandson of the late Shiv Sena founder Bal Thackeray, has already made an impression in the industry, and this project marks his first collaboration with Ali Abbas Zafar and Yash Raj Films.
Ali Abbas Zafar, renowned for blockbuster hits like Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai, co-developed the script with Aditya Chopra. This marks the fifth collaboration between the two, following successful films such as Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, Gunday, Sultan, and Tiger Zinda Hai. The production is slated to begin shooting in early 2026.
With a cast of young talent, a seasoned director, and the backing of Yash Raj Films, the project aims to deliver an action-packed romantic entertainer that appeals to the Gen Z audience while maintaining mass commercial appeal. Fans are eagerly anticipating more updates, including the official title and first-look posters.
