Ranveer Singh’s Hilarious Take on Aditya Dhar’s ‘Gets His Way’ Moment Steals the Show at Dhurandhar 2 Screening
Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar 2 has been breaking records at the box office, but a recent behind-the-scenes moment from a Mumbai screening on March 18 has fans laughing just as much as the film itself.
During the special screening, Rakesh Bedi, who is making headlines for his scene-stealing performance as Jameel Jamali, shared a video capturing a playful exchange between the film’s director, lead actor Ranveer Singh, and actress Yami Gautam.
Aditya Dhar Expresses Gratitude
In the video, Aditya Dhar thanked everyone present at the screening:
“Thanks to those who believed in me, starting from Jyoti Deshpande, and of course, my HODs, my cast members, actors, and everyone who has given their heart and soul to the film. I am overwhelmed with all the responses coming in—even the memes. But I genuinely want to thank everyone for being here, supporting us, and being part of this journey. This wouldn’t have been possible without you. Thank you so much.”
Jyoti Deshpande’s Praise
Jyoti Deshpande, CEO of Jio Studios, lauded Aditya Dhar, highlighting his persistence and personal traits:
“He never panics, he’s the voice of reason, and he always gets his way. He’s very, very special.”
Ranveer Singh’s Playful Tease
When Aditya and Jyoti called out for Ranveer, he was seen standing at the back, accompanied by Yami Gautam. Seizing the moment, Ranveer quipped:
“Yeah, ‘gets his way’ wali baat yahan (pointing towards Yami) par aakar khatam ho jaati hai.”
The witty remark left the audience, including Yami, in splits and instantly went viral on social media, showcasing the camaraderie and humor on set.
