Akshay Kumar Recalls Chilling Incident That Made Him Question the Supernatural
Actor Akshay Kumar recently shared a spine-chilling personal experience that left him questioning the existence of the supernatural—despite acknowledging that such phenomena remain scientifically unproven.
Speaking at the India Today Conclave, the actor recounted an unsettling phase from his life when his family lived in an old house where his wife Twinkle Khanna often sensed something unusual.
Twinkle Khanna’s Persistent Feeling
Akshay revealed that Twinkle repeatedly expressed discomfort about the house, claiming she felt a mysterious presence.
“We used to live in a house where my wife would always tell me, ‘There’s something here.’ My son Aarav was around four or five years old at the time, and I would tell her, ‘Tina, you’re educated, how can you say such things?’ But she insisted she had heard a lady walking inside the house,” he shared.
Initially, Akshay dismissed her concerns, attributing them to imagination rather than anything paranormal.
The Incident That Shocked Him
However, things took a surprising turn when their son, Aarav Kumar, had an unexpected reaction that left the actor momentarily shaken.
“One day, my son was lying down and suddenly pointed somewhere and said, ‘Don’t stay here, go away, you leave.’ I asked him, ‘Who are you talking to?’ For a couple of seconds, even I was shocked,” Akshay recalled.
The incident made him pause and reconsider what he had previously brushed aside.
“I Told You There’s Something”
Following the moment, Twinkle reminded him of her earlier claims.
“My wife said, ‘See, I told you, there’s someone. Even your son is talking to someone. There is something.’”
Between Belief and Skepticism
While Akshay stopped short of confirming any supernatural explanation, the experience clearly left a lasting impression on him. His story reflects the fine line between skepticism and belief, especially when faced with unexplained moments within one’s own home.
