Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma Among Stars Expected At Kuldeep Yadav’s Wedding In Mussoorie
India spinner Kuldeep Yadav is all set to tie the knot with his fiancée Vanshika on March 14, and the wedding is expected to turn into a star-studded affair with several prominent names from Indian cricket likely to attend the celebrations.
According to reports, former India captains Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are expected to reunite at the ceremony, which will take place at the iconic The Savoy Hotel in Mussoorie. The hotel has reportedly been fully booked for two to three days to host the grand wedding celebrations.
Cricket Stars To Attend The Wedding
Apart from Kohli and Rohit, several other big names from Indian cricket are also expected to attend the event. These include fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah, legendary batter Sunil Gavaskar, current India T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav, and rising stars Rinku Singh and Tilak Varma.
Meanwhile, fellow spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has already reached Dehradun to take part in the celebrations. Speaking to ANI, Chahal expressed excitement about the occasion and his close bond with Kuldeep.
“I am very excited for my brother’s marriage. I will dance a lot and enjoy,” Chahal said, hinting at lively festivities ahead.
Wedding Postponed For T20 World Cup
Reports suggest that Kuldeep had originally planned to get married in November 2025, but postponed the ceremony to focus on helping India win the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026.
Although he played just one match during the tournament, Kuldeep made an impact with figures of 1/14 against Pakistan in the group stage. The tournament eventually ended on a high note as India lifted the trophy.
Love Story Close To Home
Kuldeep and Vanshika, both from Kanpur, reportedly grew up just three kilometres apart. The couple got engaged last year in Lucknow, where Vanshika currently works as an employee with the Life Insurance Corporation (LIC).
Ahead of the big day, Kuldeep’s father, Ram Singh Yadav, also visited Yogi Adityanath to personally invite him to the wedding ceremony. With preparations in full swing in Mussoorie and several top cricketers expected to attend, Kuldeep Yadav’s wedding is set to be one of the most talked-about celebrations in the Indian cricket fraternity this year.
