Rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh is going through a difficult time after losing his nephew, Vidit Auluck, in a tragic road accident in Jalandhar, Punjab. The accident, which took place early on Sunday morning, November 1, also claimed the life of Vidit’s friend, Aarav Talwar. The news has left the rapper and his family devastated.
Honey Singh took to Instagram Stories to express his grief and share an emotional message following the heartbreaking loss. Remembering his nephew, the rapper wrote, “It’s a dark decade for me. Loss of my nephew is devastating. Bhole Nath mehr mehr mehr @dineshauluck.”
What Happened in the Jalandhar Road Accident?
According to reports, the accident took place at around 3 am on a flyover near the Police Lines area in Jalandhar. Vidit Auluck and his friend Aarav Talwar were reportedly returning from a birthday celebration when their Volkswagen car crashed into a stationary tractor-trolley.
The vehicle was travelling from BMC Chowk towards BSF Chowk when it reportedly rammed into a tractor-trolley belonging to the Municipal Corporation. The impact was severe, and both Vidit and Aarav died at the spot.
Three other people were also travelling in the car. They survived the accident and reportedly returned home after the incident.
Police Begin Investigation
Police received information about the accident at around 3 am and reached the spot shortly afterwards. Baradari police station SHO Sahil Chaudhary confirmed the incident.
According to reports, the tractor-trolley had been left on the flyover by sanitation workers who were carrying out cleaning work and collecting garbage in the area. An investigation was initiated to establish the exact circumstances that led to the collision.
Reports further stated that the families decided against pursuing additional legal action. The bodies were subsequently handed over to the families for the last rites.
