Actors Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor are set to appear on Karan Johar’s popular chat show, and the newly released promo suggests that the episode will be packed with funny moments, playful confessions and surprising comments about the host himself.
On Saturday, Karan Johar shared a glimpse of the upcoming episode, giving fans a preview of the madness awaiting them on the famous Koffee couch. From Varun’s energetic antics to Janhvi’s witty answers, the promo has already created excitement among viewers. The episode will also feature a special appearance by actor Arjun Kapoor, who joins the duo for a fun rapid-fire round.
Karan Johar Warns Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor
The promo begins with Karan Johar warning Varun and Janhvi that they will not be their usual well-behaved selves on the show. His playful remark sets the tone for an episode filled with unfiltered conversations and hilarious exchanges.
Varun is seen standing on the table at one point, adding to the chaos on the set. During the conversation, he also brings up the question of two people Karan supposedly stopped talking to, leaving viewers wondering who he is referring to.
Janhvi joins the conversation with a cheeky comment, hinting that she gained weight after Karan stopped talking to her. Her response leaves the situation open to interpretation and adds another layer of humour to the exchange.

Arjun Kapoor Joins the Rapid-Fire Round
Just when the promo seems to have delivered enough surprises, Karan introduces a twist by bringing Arjun Kapoor into the episode.
The actor joins Varun and Janhvi for the rapid-fire segment, adding another familiar face to the conversation. One of the funniest moments comes when Karan asks Varun whom he would approach for career advice and marriage advice.
Without taking much time to respond, Varun picks Arjun Kapoor. His answer creates a playful moment, particularly because both career decisions and marriage advice can lead to some interesting conversations on the show.
Arjun’s appearance also adds a fresh dynamic to the episode, with the trio expected to bring their own mix of humour, friendship and candid opinions to the rapid-fire round.
Janhvi Kapoor Names Ravi Kishan in a Surprising Answer
Janhvi Kapoor also delivers one of the promo’s most unexpected moments when Karan asks her to name an Instagram account that is always entertaining or impressive.
The actor immediately responds with the name of politician and actor Ravi Kishan. She then imitates his viral punchline, “Money follows my brother!”
Her quick response and imitation add another humorous highlight to the promo. The moment has the potential to become one of the episode’s most talked-about exchanges, especially among viewers familiar with the viral line.
Janhvi has previously appeared on the show with other Bollywood celebrities, but this episode looks set to give audiences a different side of her personality through her interactions with Varun and Karan.
Karan Johar Teases a Special Episode
Sharing the promo on social media, Karan Johar hinted at the combination of madness, affection and surprises viewers can expect from the episode.
He wrote, “@varundvn & @janhvikapoor on my couch…need I say more? This one was all madness and love + a very special (longstanding) guest.”
The reference to a special, longstanding guest points towards Arjun Kapoor’s appearance, which adds another layer of excitement to the episode.
The promo has also raised questions about the identities of the people Varun mentions and what exactly happened between them and Karan. Viewers will have to watch the full episode to discover whether the conversation reveals any genuine behind-the-scenes details or is simply part of the show’s playful banter.

The upcoming episode is part of the ninth season of Koffee With Karan, which Karan Johar has announced will be the show’s final season.
The season began with Salman Khan as the guest, with Karisma Kapoor joining him for a segment. The second episode featured Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, who spoke about their relationship and marriage.
Their conversation attracted considerable attention after Rashmika revealed that she had repeatedly brought up marriage with Vijay, who jokingly told her to ask him 100 times before he would agree. The exchange sparked discussions among viewers about the couple’s relationship.
