Katrina Kaif has opened up about how she deals with social media comments and trolling without letting them affect her personal life or career. The actress recently shared her thoughts on criticism, online narratives, and the importance of staying true to yourself.
Katrina attended an event in London on Thursday to celebrate the first anniversary of her beauty brand, Kay Beauty, which she launched in partnership with Nykaa. During the event, she spoke about authenticity, handling criticism, and not allowing social media comments to influence her decisions.
Katrina said that people need to be careful not to let social media narratives affect their sense of self. She explained that constantly trying to please everyone can make it difficult to make personal choices. According to her, if she allowed every criticism or comment to dictate her actions, she would feel paralysed by fear and struggle to move forward in life.
She also connected this mindset to Kay Beauty’s tagline, “It’s Kay to Be You,” explaining that it is about accepting yourself and staying true to who you are. She believes that life changes with every phase, and there are times when we feel confident and happy with ourselves, while at other times, we may struggle to feel our best. Katrina said it is important to accept every phase of life, take things in stride, and not take ourselves too seriously.

Her comments have also brought attention to the online discussions surrounding her appearance and body after becoming a mother. Katrina welcomed her son, Vihaan Kaushal, in November 2025, and some online comments following her public appearances attracted criticism from people who felt that she was being judged unfairly. Several celebrities, including Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Sameera Reddy and Soundarya Rajinikanth, have shown support for her and her dedication to her career.
Apart from her thoughtful reply, Katrina looked absolutely gorgeous at the London event. Her formal outfit was elegant, and her hairstyle complemented her overall look beautifully. She carried herself with confidence and grace, making a strong impression with both her appearance and her words.
Personally, I feel Katrina has handled the situation in a very positive and mature way. Instead of letting every negative comment affect her, she has shared a message about self-acceptance, confidence, and moving forward without allowing others to control your choices. Her response feels powerful because she is reminding people that no one can please everyone, and we should not lose ourselves trying to do so.
What do you think? Has Katrina Kaif given the perfect response to online trolling? Her calm attitude, beautiful appearance, and inspiring message truly make her response feel legendary.
