Music composer-turned-director Palaash Muchhal has recently found himself in the spotlight following reports that his alleged wedding with Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana has been called off. While the speculation continues to circulate, actor Daisy Shah has chosen to remain neutral, emphasizing that she does not have enough information to form an opinion.

In a candid conversation with MissMalini, Daisy opened up about her recent professional interaction with Palaash amid the ongoing buzz. She revealed that the filmmaker had initially refrained from reaching out to her directly regarding his film. Instead, he communicated through intermediaries—something she found unusual.

Taking the initiative, Daisy decided to contact him herself. This led to a direct conversation and eventually a script narration, after which she agreed to be a part of the project. Sharing his reasoning, Daisy recalled Palaash telling her that he was avoiding personal outreach due to the sensitive situation, as it could be misinterpreted or “go on a different tangent.”

Despite the circumstances, Daisy made it clear that she draws a firm line between personal and professional lives. She stated that an individual’s personal matters should not interfere with their work commitments. Highlighting the uncertainty surrounding the reports, she added that no one truly knows the full story, making it unfair to pass judgment based on speculation alone.

Maintaining a compassionate tone, Daisy also expressed hope for a positive resolution. She mentioned that she wishes for things to work out for both Palaash and Smriti, adding that they make a “lovely pair.”

As conversations around public figures and their private lives continue to dominate headlines, Daisy’s perspective stands out as a reminder to approach such matters with restraint and empathy.
