Bollywood diva Malaika Arora and former cricketer-turned-politician Navjot Singh Sidhu share a warm friendship that began when they judged the popular reality show India’s Got Talent together. Their strong bond was once again visible when Malaika appeared as a special guest on The Kapil Sharma Show, where Sidhu is a regular.
During the episode, host Kapil Sharma asked Sidhu what he admired the most about Malaika. Praising her personality and discipline, Sidhu had nothing but kind words for the actor and television personality.
“The most important thing is that she has hitched her wagon to the stars, but her feet are firmly on the ground. I’ve never seen a more grounded celebrity,” Sidhu said.
He also highlighted Malaika’s disciplined lifestyle, adding that she follows a strict routine and eats on time. Sharing a surprising detail, Sidhu revealed that Malaika travels with a large team. “Secondly, her discipline. She eats on time. She has an entourage of 56,” he said.
Sidhu then warmly hugged Malaika and expressed his affection for her. “My love for her is such that she can never disappoint me, however much she tries throughout her life,” he added.
Responding to Sidhu’s heartfelt praise, Malaika shared that she fondly calls him “Sherry.” She also returned the compliments, calling him one of the most genuine people she knows.
“Not Siddhu ji, I fondly call him Sherry. He’s the world’s most genuine, true, and dildaar (generous), and the most amazing human being,” Malaika said.
The sweet exchange between the two left the audience smiling and once again showed the strong friendship they share beyond the screen.
